Ocean City, NJ - Camping Trip

We stayed at Whippoorwill Campground, 10 min from the boardwalk

and beach. GREAT campground!!!! Clean and close!!!! We went to the beach every

day and had perfect weather!OK - the ocean was SO COLD it made your feet hurt!

I don't know how the boys were in but - whatever....

We came back to the boardwalk most nights, the boys of coarse
wanted to do rides!

Chase on our last day.... the water was a little warmer
He did really good and got the hang of it until his limbs went numb....

We asked Chase were he would like to go for his present...

He chose Freddy Hill to play mini golf.

The Bird's Nest

Ok - so we were away camping and we returned to find a nest on

our patio. There were four eggs but my BIL and nephew were playing in the nest and

dropped one. :( We stopped using our patio so they could sit on the nest...The nest on my bakers rack.... and Bo's gloves(lol)
This is were it is - 2 ft from our door!
We decided that if they did not hatch by Sat. 6/7 we

would take the nest down.... this is what I found Sat morning.....
2 days later - 6/9 we'll keep you posted....

Pappy and Grammy's House

We visited my Dad and Sandy last weekend. Bliss(german short haired pointer)

had her puppies(8). They were 6 weeks old in these pictures. Chase was in their pen all day!Pappy drawing w/ the kids.

Pappy's tractor trailer was explored! They loved pulling

the air horn!!!!!!! I think we ticked off a few neighbors!

Chase's fieldtrip to the Zoo

Chase's class went to the Elmwood Park Zoo. This is the AM and PM classes combined.
There were plenty of chaperones, so we had two kids each.

Chase's partner was Nathan. Here they are on the bus.

His class with Mrs. Wood.(his teacher)
We did a scavenger hunt while we were there.

Chase and Nathan had gotten the highest score!

Bo had made this birdhouse w/ the boys. He went to hang it outside and I said

"don't you think it could use a little paint?"

The best part of camping is the family time together!!!!! The Merry Mixer - Weeeeee....
Yes, we made them share.... aww how cute they are!
Oh my, this child always wears more then goes in his mouth!

Chase lost his front tooth... Chase came home with his front tooth.

He lost it at recess after he got hit in the mouth

with a basketball.

Pirate Party -Arrrr

Yay - The Pirate Party that I planned to take the kids to for

a year is here!!! This was our best evening!!! We rode all the rides

several times with NO lines! The kids enjoyed running around

to the treasure spots and collecting their booty. I enjoyed meeting Jack Sparrow.

I thought Bo would roll his eyes about dressing up.

Instead when he realized he didn't pack a costume he said

"DID YOU PACK ME ANYTHING?!" - Of coarse I did.

Undersea Dance Party
Kaden bustin' a move!!!
They had a neat parade with lots of pirates and Captain Hook. After the parade we darted threw some back paths to avoid the crowds.
We ended up finding Meko - He gave the kids a lot of attention.

NO line for Captain Jack Sparrow! We were

the first to see him after his parade.

Can we say Hellooooooo Captain Jack.(he he)

Yes! Pirate Mickey!!!!
We actually got our photos with all the characters in their pirate costumes but those photos are on my photopass. I won't have them for a while.

The fireworks were AWESOME!!!!!

The kids held up great! The party ended at midnight.
What a blast!!!

Day 4 -part one - Animal Kingdom

Each day we would get up and hit the parks early. Then we would come back and nap. This allowed us to see a lot and take a break when the parks were

most crowded. On most mornings we were greeted by these 3 ducks

that the boys enjoyed feeding outside our door.Animal Kingdom and ice cream.
One of Chase and Kaden favorite things was the boneyard.

They would have spent all day if they could!!!

We went back early in the afternoon to crash. We had a late evening planned with our "Pirate and Princess Party"

DAY 3 -EPCOT

Let me satrt by saying I love EPCOT!

I love how you can feel like you are traveling around

the world in a single day. I love the cultures and the food and the people from

all the different countries that come to work there. These are the masks the kids started. Each country has a different

paper charm that gets added. In China and Japan

they write the childrens names in that language.

Magic Kingdom - Here we come, Baby

It's our first real day in Disney. Tour Guide Rebecca would really

like to get to the park when it opens.We still have our rental

car so we plan accordingly and actually make it to the park

early enough to see the pre-opening show. YIPEE!

Tour Guide Rebecca is very happy! Yay - We got on quite a few rides but @ 9:45

Tour Guide Rebecca would like to go to Mickey's Toon Town.

(I've read a family helps open it at 10 - if your early)

The characters come out and take Chase and Kaden by the hands and lead them to the "Barnstorner" were we all get on a private ride for our family!

How great is that! Who get's to ride rides w/ Donald,
Pluto and Goofy? Tour Guide Rebecca is VERY happy!

We then got escourted to a meet-n-greet to take some photos.
This made every ounce of planning I did 110% worth it!!!
We got on ton's of rides for the rest of the day- then returned our rental car.

We went to Hollywood Studio's(MGM) to see "Fantasmic" that night.

Great show- not so great photos...

To bed kiddo's - Tour guide Mommy has another day planned tomorrow...

Disney...Wonderful Disney - Day 1

Well - We're home. Back to cold reality!

Our trip was wonderful in every way possable!

We had a great flight down to Fl. We checked-in

and rented a car for the first day. We did our shopping and came

back to the hotel for a swim.

The boys were LOVING it!!!

While they were at the pool I did a little room decorating.Dinner at a mexican restaurant

Oh, the packing.... I finally finised at 4pm today. Still in my pj's.
This was the boy's countdown calender.
Yipee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We leave tomorrow morning- 5:30 am

Jan. 26 - should be soakin' up the sun by noon!

We'll be back Feb 3rd.

The boys couldn't wait to get in the snow!

The only reason I am enjoying the snow is because I am thinking of the warm Florida weather awaiting us. 9 days!

We had a wonderful New year's eve. We went to Bethlehem for there First Night celebration. The kids enjoyed the evening. The weather was brisk but clear. The slide made out of ice was there favorite. I enjoyed the fireworks the most. As we kissed the first firework burst behind us! Perfect! Happy New Year!!!
